Description : Your hosts, James & Pat Kötting, invite you to unwind and relax in the heart of the beautiful Kargs Post Valley, just outside Kokstad. Our haven is situated in East Griqualand at the tip of the Southern Drakensburg and is central to Pietermaritzburg, Durban and Umtata, with panoramic mountain views. We currently have six en suite bedrooms, three are double and three are furnished with twin beds. Three of the rooms are situated in the garden with separate entrances. All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with heaters, tea and coffee facilities, and DSTV and mini bar fridges. Delicious homemade country meals are served in the dining room or on the veranda, weather permitting, overlooking a picturesque "English Garden". For the adventurer, the majestic mountains, which surround Peacehaven, provide a breathtaking backdrop for scenic walks, horse trails, trout fishing and bird watching (a wetland bird sanctuary on our door step) available in the area, all of which is organized by prior arrangement. For the businessman travelling through, we have Internet and fax facilities. Peacehaven Guest House is AA highly recommended and a three star grading.
